In friendly mode, players take on the overall challenge of driving their trucks and other vehicles around the tracks, while trying to earn points throughout the course without going over the required target. There are many rally courses spread out across nine different countries, and each of these courses can be completed in either a friendly or competitive mode.
In either mode, players must complete tasks given to them by the game to move on to the next stage. Like any other title in the WRC series, WRC: World Rally Championship features the "Rally" and "Survival" modes, which are essentially the two major game modes. WRC: World Rally Championship features all the wacky rallies and competitions you have come to love from the series such as the infamous Sturgis rally, the tight competition between Rallycross teams, and the all-out war between rallying veterans and newcomers. This title features all the major properties one would expect from a rally driving game: great visuals, realistic physics, intuitive controls, and great game modes and options. The 2021 season's tournament will see the best rally drivers from all over the world duking it out in a tournament to become the WRC champion.
